Dingess Man Sues West Virginia State Police

{Dingess, West Virginia}...Anthony Ray Baisden, 39, of Dingess, in Logan County, is suing the West Virginia State Police, alleging he needed facial reconstruction surgery after troopers, believing he was the subject of an arrest warrant, clubbed him between the eyes with the butt of a rifle after waking him as he was sleeping on a couch in the Verdunville home of Ernest James Vance Sr. on November 5, 2010. His lawyer, Henry E. Wood III says surgeons operated on Baisden to reconstruct collapsed nasal passages and inserted rods in his nose, and he suffers constant headaches as a result of the alleged assault.
