Man Confesses To Huntington Robbery
{Huntington, West Virginia}... Huntington Police say Brian Batey, 40, of Ashland, Kentucky, confessed Monday to robbing the Little Caesar's Pizza at the corner of 1st Street and 7th Avenue in Huntington on October 13th. Surveillance video from the robbery was posted on the Huntington Police Department's website in October, and detectives from Russell, Kentucky noted physical similarities to a suspect they had charged in a robbery at the Best Western Hotel on October 30th, and that the vehicle driven in the Little Caesar's robbery was similar to the one Batey drove in the Best Western robbery. Russell Police have charged Batey with first degree robbery, public intoxication and assault. Batey now faces an additional first degree robbery charge in West Virginia.
