Salvation Army Kicks Off Red Kettle Drive

  • {Charleston, West Virginia}...Friday, the Salvation Army kicked off their Christmas campaign at the Charleston Town Center. The goal is to raise $250,000 this season with their Red Kettle drive. The money goes to helping needy families with food, clothing, toys, and utility assistance during the holiday season and throughout the year. The Salvation Army also wants to provide toys and clothes to hundreds of needy children with their Angel Tree program. The Angel Tree at the Charleston Town Center is located on the second floor by Chicos. The campaign runs until December 24th.
