W.Va. Poison Center to Remain Open

The West Virginia Poison Center will be able to keep taking calls.

Lawmakers passed a supplemental bill that reinstates the funding.

According to reports,  the new state budget included across the board cuts that would have been detrimental to the center's budget.

And the domino effect would have meant federal funding would have been reduced, as well.

The bill now goes to the governor's desk for his signature.
