{St. Albans, West Virginia}...Upon returning home from the grocery store Wednesday morning, 61 year old John Chapman of Custer Street in St. Albans discovered his back door was open. Chapman was suspicious so he grabbed a gun and did a room-by-room search. In an upstairs bedroom, Chapman found one of his guns had been removed from a dresser drawer and placed on top. He then discovered 19 year old Josh Sovine hiding behind a door in the bedroom. A struggle ensued between the two men, and, during the struggle, Chapman fired three shots, hitting Sovine in the hip or upper back and in the leg.
