Grand Jury Indicts Man For Armed Bank Robberies

  • {Huntington,  West Virginia}...Tuesday, a U.S. District Court Grand Jury in Huntington indicted Charles Asher, 51, of Nashville, Tennessee on two counts of bank robbery. Police say, on August 23rd, Asher committed an armed robbery at the First Federal Credit Union in Barboursville, and, on October 3rd, he robbed the BB&T Bank branch in Hurricane. If convicted, Asher faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
