St. Albans Police Chief On Administrative Leave

{St. Albans, West Virginia}...St. Albans Mayor Dick Callaway has confirmed that Police Chief Brent Coates will remain on administrative leave while under investigation. St. Albans Police Capt. James Agee is temporarily in charge of the St. Albans Police Department. Coates was under investigation during his former job at the Florida Highway Patrol after female trooper accused him of creating a hostile work environment for her in 2009. The case was ruled as unfounded and closed in February, after Coates had been hired in St. Albans.
