Clay shooting death under investigation

CLAY, W.Va. – State Police in Clay County say a man was found shot to death in a garden Tuesday afternoon.

Troopers say the death of Jack Stone, 65, of Indore, is being investigated as a murder.

Stone’s body was found in a garden on Sycamore Street in the community of Hartland Bottom near Clay.

Troopers say he had been shot several times.
