Michael
Dale Garrett, 28, was laid to rest just one week after he was killed in the
line of duty.
Garrett
was a Nutter Fort Volunteer Firefighter and responded to a collapsed cell tower
where two men were trapped.
After
arriving at the scene, a second cell tower fell on top of him.
A
funeral was held at the Nathan Goff Armory in Clarksburg on Saturday. More than 70 fire
departments attended the funeral to pay their respects.
There
were also police officers and emergency personnel in attendance.
After
the funeral the procession traveled to the Greenlawn Cemetery
where two ladder trucks flew the American flag, and guests could say their
final goodbyes to a man who everyone will truly miss.
Garrett's
last call rang out before 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
