The names of the two people killed in an accident near Matewan
have been released.
Sid and Amanda Norman, a father and daughter, didn't survive
when the Geo Tracker they were riding in crashed late Friday night.
According to neighbors, Scott Maynard and Johnny Gooslin were
hurt in the accident.
The four were riding on an ATV trail when the path gave way,
sending their vehicle down a steep embankment 150 feet.
The accident went unnoticed until about noon Saturday when
Gooslin was able to crawl three miles off the mountain where the crash happened
and report it.
Gooslin and Maynard were transported to an area hospital with
serious injuries.
Amanda Norman was the mother of two children, a boy and a girl.
