Boone County Man Indicted

{Ashford, West Virginia}...Fifty-six year old Wesley Kinder has been indicted on second degree murder, attempted murder, and malicious assault. Boone County Deputies say, in September 2011, Kinder, who suffers from Schizophrenia, drowned his 79 year old mother, Janice Kinder, who was found in a creek near her Ashford home, because he did not want to go to his doctor's appointment. Kinder also is charged with hitting Boone County Sheriff's Lt. Delmar R. Browning with his vehicle, seriously injuring the officer, while trying to evade capture. The impact broke Browning's leg in two places and blew out his knee.
