Murder Trial Delayed

{Winfield, West Virginia}...Thirty-four year old David Matthew Little of Nitro, who is charged with first-degree murder in the 2001 death of 41 year old Yvonne Suzette Thomas, was scheduled for trial on February 27th, but Thursday the trial was rescheduled for June 25th after defense attorneys requested more time to sort through evidence. West Virginia State Police say, in April 2002, Thomas' body was found at Island Creek Road near Tornado, where it had apparently been carried or dragged across a field to the edge of a wooded area and left in the creek bed. Thomas died from a gunshot wound to her head. Little is in the Martinsburg Correctional Center for conspiracy and attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab.
