Man Charged With Attempted Murder

{Huntington, West Virginia}...Forty year old Larry Thomas was arraigned Tuesday morning after Huntington Police arrested him late Monday night. Police say he tried to suffocate his 11 month old daughter with a pillow, but the child’s mother caught Thomas with the pillow and struggled with him in an attempt to stop him. Thomas then allegedly struck her with his fist. Police say, when Thomas was arrested, he was carrying a knife under his shirt. He has been charged with attempted murder, domestic battery, carrying a concealed weapon and being a fugitive from justice. Thomas is wanted out of Boyd County on a drug charge.
