Logan Fire Considered Suspicious
- {Logan, West Virginia}...The State Fire Marshal is investigating after fire broke out at a vacant two-story building between B and B Loans and the Dollar General on Stratton Street in downtown Logan around 2:00 A.M. Wednesday morning. Firefighters say this was the fifth fire in the last 30 days in Logan. Fire Chief Scott Beckett says the front of the building was actually blown off when firefighters arrived. And, when they went inside to try and fight the fire, they smelled gasoline. Beckett says people who were driving by said they saw several people walk out of the building just before they heard the blast. Firefighters consider the fire suspicious.
