Body found in Kanawha River

Kanawha County police found the body of a young woman floating in the Kanawha River Monday afternoon.

Reports indicate children on a Kanawha County school bus spotted the partially dressed body as they were traveling across the Dunbar Bridge. Police made a recovery a few minutes later.

Police said the victim appears to be in her 20s.
