The City of Williamson held it's regular scheduled
council meeting at City Hall on Thursday at 6pm.
During the meeting an approval of the grant application
for new protective vests for the police department was passed.
Mayor Steven Johnston Knopp says, "The folks in
harms way need to be protected as much as possible."
Because of all the dangerous activity occurring now, the
council agreed that this is the best decision for the city.
