Four Seriously Hurt in Logan County Crash

Four people were recovering from serious injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 119 at the intersection of Convention Center Drive, according to information from the Logan County Sheriff's Department.

A mother and her son and daughter, all from Harts, W.Va., were in one of the vehicles. All three suffered serious injuries and were taken to Logan Regional Medical Center before later being airlifted to another hospital.

The other vehicle was driven by a 55-year-old woman from Chapmanville, W.Va. She also was first taken to Logan Regional Medical Center before being airlifted to a Charleston hospital with serious injuries.

Deputies said the Chapmanville woman made a left turn onto U.S. 119 from Convention Center Drive, pulling into the path of the other vehicle.
