Fugitive Arrested in Wayne County; Meth-Making Material Found



A fugitive from justice could face more charges after a meth bust Wednesday afternoon in Wayne County, according to information from the Wayne County Sheriff's Department.

Sherman Holland, 42, was arrested in Fort Gay. Deputies say they executed a search warrant at a home in the 5400 block of Fort Gay Road and found meth-making materials. They also said Holland was in possession of a stolen gun.

Holland was wanted on meth-related charges in Kentucky.

Wayne County Sheriff's deputies were assisted by the U.S. Marshals Cuffed Task Force in making the arrest.


Holland was taken to the Western Regional Jail.
