Three Lincoln County Men has admitted to selling Oxycodone.
According to a press release, beginning in January 2013, the
Huntington Violent Crime and Drug task Force made a series a controlled buys
from Richard Mullins and his associates.
Monday in federal court, Mullins, 49, of West Hamlin, admitted
that he sold five Oxycodone pills to an informant that he met in a parking lot.
The drug deal was made from the car. Mullins also admitted to other drug sales
in Lincoln County
John Freddie Joe Johnson, 37, of West Hamlin, admitted that he
assisted Mullins, and Joseph James Salmons and sold Oxycodone to an informant
outside of his home in February 2013.
Salmons, 24, of Hamlin, admitted that on another occasion in February
2013, he sold five Oxycodone pills to an informant. In that buy, investigators
say the informant entered Mullins' home and met with Mullins and gave him $200
for the pills. Mullins then handed the money over to Salmons, who gave the
informant the pills. Salmons also admitted to other drug sales in Lincoln County
All three men face up to 20 years in prison when they are
sentenced in July.
