3 judges to share Randolph County workload after Wilfong’s suspension

State Supreme Court Chief Justice Robin Davis appointed three senior status judges to preside as judges in Randolph County Circuit Court following the suspension of elected judge Jaymie Wilfong.
Davis announced retired judges John Henning, Thomas Steptoe and Tom Keadle will split the work at the Randolph County Courthouse in Elkins.
Justices suspended Wilfong for the rest of her term in an order issued Thursday. It agreed with the state Judicial Hearing Board that found Wilfong committed 11 violations of the code of conduct for judges during a 26-month affair with a man who appeared before her in court hearings. The Supreme Court censored Wilfong on each violation.

Wilfong’s term expires Dec. 31, 2016.
