Arrests Made in Wayne County Murder

Two men have been charged with stabbing an elderly couple, killing one of them.
Jeremy Marcum and Elijah Marcum are both charged with first-degree murder and malicious assault.

The charges stem from a stabbing inside the home of James "Red" Bundy and Myrtle Bundy, early Wednesday.

James Bundy died, but his wife, Myrtle survived with several stab wounds.

Two men are both facing murder and assault charges in James' death and for the attempted murder of his wife.

Both suspects said they don't know the elderly couple.

West Virginia State Police say they plan also to charge the Bundys' neighbor, Melissa Watts, as an accessory to the murder.

They said both Jeremy Marcum and Elijah Marcum hid at her home after the stabbings.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office, West Virginia State Police Crime Scene Unit, are investigating the case.
