Kentucky
political icon Wendell Ford who went from Lt. Gov. to Governor then represented
Kentucky in the U.S. Senate has died at age 90.
Ford was
diagnosed in 2014 with a malignancy on one of his lungs. Ford had undergone a
series of chemotherapy treatments in his hometown of Owensboro.
