Suspect in Mingo County Burglary Sought

The Mingo County Sheriff's Department is searching for a suspect in a restaurant burglary early Monday.

Deputies released surveillance footage from Bonnie's Carryout in Ben Creek. The video shows a man carrying what appears to be a baseball bat, outside and inside the restaurant.

Investigators said the suspect used the bat to break out a side door and destroy security equipment.

They estimated he caused about $2,000 in damage to the restaurant and only walked away with about $100 in change from a coin machine.
