West Virginia State Police are working to make sure children stay
warm this winter.
Detachments in six different counties
in southern West Virginia
will be having a coat drive now through December 3rd.
Troopers say they are looking for new
or slightly used coats and boots. If used, they ask that they are clean and in
good condition.
The items can be dropped off at any
state police detachment in Boone, Lincoln , Logan , Mingo, Cabell and Wayne Counties .
Troopers also say anyone who knows of a
child in need, to give them a call and they will make sure that child gets a
coat and/or boots.
