Accused Distracted Driver Injures Four in Logan County Crash

Four people, including a pedestrian, were taken to the hospital after a crash along Route 10.

It happened in the Pigeon Roost area just before noon, Saturday.

Firefighters with the Henlawson Fire Department say several vehicles were involved and it appears to have been caused by a distracted driver who crossed the center line.

The driver hit a vehicle that was hauling a jeep; causing the trailer to break free and spin out of control.

A parked vehicle was also hit, which in turn hit a pedestrian who was seriously hurt and flown to the hospital.

Three other people were taken to Logan Regional Medical Center.

The crash remains under investigation by West Virginia State Police. There's no word if charges are pending at this time.
