Barboursville Police Officer Dies

BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. -- The Barboursville Police Department is mourning the loss of one of their own.

Sergeant James Bellomy passed away Friday of health complications. He was just 52 years old and police say he recently suffered a heart attack.

Bellomy was a member of the Barboursville Police Department for 30 years.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel. He will be laid to rest after the service at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday night at the funeral home.
