Williamson Police officer found dead in Kentucky

A Williamson Police officer was found dead Monday in Pike County, Ky.
Police say the body of Jefferson Taylor III, 27, of McCarr, Ky, was found around 4:30 p.m. at a relative’s home in Pike County.
Taylor was suspended without pay last week after he was accused of driving under the influence in a crash involving his cruiser. He was off duty at the time of the incident.
Taylor had been charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and leaving the scene of an accident.
Currently the cause of death is under investigation by Kentucky State Police troopers in Pike County.
