Police
are investigating a shooting and a person struck by a vehicle in Boone County , WV
Dispatchers
say it happened in the area of 23054
Prenter Rd.
According
to dispatchers, one male was reported shot twice in the back and once in the
shoulder. Another male related to this shooting was reportedly hit by a
vehicle.
Police
say the shooting victim was shot by a rifle.
Both
victims were taken to CAMC
General Hospital
No
names are being released at this time.
The
cause of these incidents is not yet known. The West Virginia State Police and
the Boone County Sheriffs Office are investigating.
