HINTON, W.Va. — Numerous
people were arrested Wednesday in Summers
County
Multiple
law enforcement agencies arrested 52 suspects on 172 indictments related to
felony drug charges, issued by a Summers County Grand Jury.
The
West Virginia State Police, the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources,
Hinton Police Department, Summers County Sheriff’s Department, and Southern
Regional Jail Officials all took part in the round up.
The
indictments and subsequent arrests were the result of a year-long investigation
conducted by the West Virginia State Police.
All suspects taken into
custody are currently sitting in the Southern Regional Jail.
