Time is running out to claim $1 million

The West Virginia Lottery is giving one last reminder of what will happen at 5 p.m. Thursday unless someone comes forward….a $1 million Powerball ticket will be worth nothing.
The winning ticket was sold on Saturday, March 16 at the Little General Store in Beckley on Robert C. Byrd Drive. The person hit on all five numbers but missed the Powerball. Those winning numbers were 3-7-21-44-55.
But no one has come forward and the Lottery’s six-month prize collection deadline is quickly approaching.

The $1 million will go in the Lottery’s unclaimed prize fund if no one shows up at Lottery headquarters in Charleston by Thursday evening. The money will then be used for prizes in other Lottery games.
