The Prichard Volunteer Fire Department has won a year supply of
toilet paper as part of a national contest.
As a part of the Charmin Relief
Project, the company is donating 960 rolls to the department.
It is part of a nationwide donation to
one fire house in every state – that’s nearly 50,000 rolls of toilet paper to
50 firehouses in 50 states.
Charmin recently asked consumers to
share stories via Facebook and Twitter of firehouses in their communities that
were experiencing sub-par bathroom conditions and in need of relief.
The brand
then picked one in each state that could use the extra support.
This was the comment that was left on
the Charmin Facebook page:
“Prichard Volunteer Fire
Department, Prichard West Virginia . All volunteers with 4 paid EMS employees. Limited money with a large budget and big
responsibility. All great people with big appetites that produce the need for
lots of Charmin.”
The Prichard Volunteer Fire Department
was started in 1974.
