Agreement makes it easier for students at West Virginia State to pursue doctorate in pharmacy at Marshall

A new partnership with Marshall University will make it easier for students at West Virginia State University to pursue their doctorate in pharmacy at Marshall.
The agreement, signed June 16, defines a plan of study that will allow WVSU students to fulfill prerequisite requirements for Marshall's School of Pharmacy.
Students in good standing and who meet the admissions requirements to enroll in Marshall's pharmacy program will receive full credit for up to 72 hours of college-level coursework. Once they satisfactorily complete two years of pharmacy coursework at Marshall, they'll be eligible to receive their bachelor's degree in chemistry or biology from West Virginia State.
Under the agreement, Marshall will guarantee admission each academic year to two WVSU students, provided the students meet all admission requirements spelled out in the memorandum of understanding.
