A man and woman from Wayne
County are in jail on
multiple drug charges following a raid at their home.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit arrested
Karen Webb, 31, and Steven Horn, 31.
Investigators with the DEU says the pair was arrested after
officers made four controlled buys over a four-month period at the home along
U.S. 52 near Tolsia High School.
The DEU says the buys included oxycodone and suboxone.
Inside the home, investigators say they found multiple oxycodone
pills, suboxone, $7,474 in cash, digital scales, cell phones, and multiple
cartons of cigarettes.
The Sheriff’s Office says one of the suspects told deputies they
took the cigarettes in trade for drugs. They said that people would buy them
with food stamps cards from both Kentucky and W.Va.
Webb is charged with four counts of delivery of a controlled
substance, seven counts of possession with intent to deliver, and one count of
conspiracy.
Horn is charged with one count of aiding and abetting the
