Two people
are in jail on drug charges after troopers with the West Virginia State Police
stopped a vehicle along Route 119 in Alum Creek, in Lincoln County .
According to the West Virginia State Police, troopers detected the odor of marijuana and conducted a search of the vehicle.

When searching the vehicle, troopers discovered marijuana packages
for sale, along with alprazolam, and psilocybin mushrooms. Four small
children were also in the vehicle.
Gary Bland Jr. and Rebehka Cate were arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver, transportation of a controlled substance into the state, child neglect creating risk of injury, and conspiracy to commit a felony.
Bland was also charged with a traffic violation and driving on a revoked license due to a DUI.
Child Protective Services was notified and have custody of the children.
Both Bland and Cate are currently in the Western Regional Jail.
