A fire has damaged a home in the Crum area according to
information from the Kermit Volunteer Fire Department.
Crews from both the Kermit Volunteer
Fire Department and the Dunlow Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene
near the Mingo/Wayne county line last night around 6:30pm.
Smoke was showing from the back of the
home and the roof when firefighters arrived. They contained the fire to the
rear three rooms of the house.
The homeowner was home at the time, but
all of the occupants managed to make it out uninjured.
