A worker was injured Monday morning at
a coal mining operation in eastern Kanawha
County
A spokesperson with the West Virginia
Office of Miners’ Safety Health and Training confirmed a bulldozer overturned
at the Cantenary Coal site near Cabin Creek. The injured worker was taken by
HealthNet Helicopter to Charleston
Area Medical
Center
State investigators were called to the
scene.
