Christmas gathering discounts and special pricing on items.
Here’s a few safety tips that may save you a lot on Cyber
Monday:
Use websites you know and check for the secure lock.
Get
tracking information and follow up with retailers if your item doesn't ship by
the arrival date listed.
Use a different password for each website. Keep a paper
list of them, that way, if someone hacks your computer information, they won't
find a copy of all your passwords.
Think about using a credit card with added security
features.
Check your bank statement regularly. If there's a charge
you don't recognize, call your bank or credit card company immediately.
If it's a site or seller you are using for the first time,
check reviews from other customers.
Don't click on deals or ads on social media sites. They
could be scams.
If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is.
