An Elkview Middle School student has been charged in connection
with a bomb threat received last week at Elk Elementary
Center
Because the student is a juvenile, his or her name will not be
released.
A juvenile petition was signed against that student on Monday.
The bomb threat was received last Wednesday. It delayed the
release of several students, as well as their buses.
A bomb squad searched the school and found no evidence of an
explosive device.
