Plans for a new pre-K through eighth-grade school in Crum
continue moving forward.
The Wayne County Board of Education
voted Tuesday to hire Huddleston Bolen law firm to complete the title search
for land slated to become the site of the school. That land consists of about
32 acres along the Tug
River near Crum.
Officials say that process could take
about 30 to 60 days. If everything goes as planned, they are hoping to finalize
the sale in June.
The construction is contingent upon
voters passing the bond measure. It will be on the primary ballot next month.
