Man Arrested in Connection with Drugs, Loaded Guns and Homemade Bomb

LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va.– A man was arrested in the Man area of Logan County when deputies discovered drugs, loaded guns and an explosive device in the truck he was driving.

Mickey Shawn Caudill, 42, of Man has been arrested.

Sheriff Sonya Porter says Caudill was stopped by deputies on Route 10.
When searching his truck, deputies found dozens of prescription pills, marijuana, two loaded guns, counterfeit money and a homemade pipe-bomb.

A bomb tech with West Virginia State Police safely removed the device from Caudill’s truck.

Caudill is being charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of an explosive device, carrying a concealed weapons without a license, possession of counterfeit money, failure to use turning signal and no insurance.

He is currently being held at Southwestern Regional Jail. A bond has not been set.
