Search is on for a missing Logan County man

LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. -- Family members and emergency officials are searching for a Logan County man that was last seen on Tuesday.

Logan County Sheriff Sonya Porter says James David Marcum, 44, of Henlawson, W.Va., was last seen about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Marcum left his home on his 4-wheeler Tuesday night after getting into an argument, according to the sheriff.

Family members tell Sheriff Porter that Marcum has a severe bee allergy and never rides his 4-wheeler without taking his medication with him.

Marcum was last seen wearing a hat, t-shirt, shorts and flip-flops.

The Sheriff's Department has reached out to the Logan police Department, the Logan Post of West Virginia State Police and the Hatfield McCoy trails for assistance in finding Marcum.

If you have any information as to the whereabouts of Marcum you are urged to call the Logan County Sheriff's Department.
