New state office building opens in Logan, tenants include DHHR and tax department


State government has opened a new office building in Logan.

The five-story building houses offices for the Department of Health and Human Resources, Workforce West Virginia, the Division of Rehabilitative Services, the Insurance Commission, the State Tax Department and the Workforce Investment Board.

State and local officials held a ribbon cutting and dedication of the building on Friday.

Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin said that the building is an investment in Logan's revitalization.
