Another Person Charged in Logan Arson Case


Another person is facing federal charges after an alleged arson fire in Logan County.

The arson happened on February 1 along Stratton Street in Logan.

According to an federal information, Michael D. Williams has been charged with Conspiracy.

According to the information, prosecutors say Williams with Guy R. Miller and Shawn C. Simon "did knowingly conspire to...maliciously damage and destroy....111 Stratton Street."

Prosecutors say James Glick bought the building and had it set on fire. Then, collected one million dollars in insurance money, according to prosecutors.

William Thompson, Miller, and Simon have also been charged in the case. They are accused of helping Glick carrying out the plan.
