The Mingo County
Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance to help solve a rash
of daytime burglaries that has occurred over about the last 30 days.
Authorities
report that several items have been stolen from yards, garages and storage
buildings of homes and it is believed to be the work of the same person/persons
due to the similarities of the types of merchandise stolen.
If anyone has
information concerning the name or names of the people responsible for this
string of thefts, or have heard of any of the above listed items available for
sale. they are urged to contact Chief Deputy Smith at the sheriff’s office,
304-235-0300. You do not have to reveal your identity. All the officers are
interested in is the information you may have that would lead to the arrest and
conviction of those responsible.
