Two People in Critical Condition Following Wreck in Logan County



Two people are in critical condition following a wreck involving a pickup truck and a UTV.

It happened near the Whitman exit on U.S. Route 19 South in Logan County, W.Va. 

Investigators say the UTV pulled out in front of the truck, which tried to stop but was unable to do so in time.

According to the Logan County Sheriff's Department, the driver of the truck was Thurmond Lee, 61, of Chapmanville, W.Va. He was taken to a nearly hospital and treated for minor injuries before being released.


The driver of the UTV was Robert Farley Jr., 22, of Whitman, W.Va. Both he and a juvenile passenger suffered critical injuries and were taken to regional hospitals. The child's name has not been released.
