Knock and Talk arrests in Logan County

The Logan County Sheriff's Office visited several homes during a knock-and -talk operation and made two arrests.

The Sheriff's Office says deputies stopped at several residences in the Holden area where suspected drug activity has allegedly been taking place. They also stopped at the residences of concerned citizens.

Damien Dwayne Adkins, 27, of Holder, was arrested after deputies stopped at a home where he was staying. There was a warrant out for his arrest out of Greenbrier County, for failing to pay child support. Adkins was arrested and taken to the South Western Regional Jail.

Rachell Bronz, 24, was also arrested. Deputies say they got consent to search based on information they previously received. They say they saw suspected drug and drug paraphernalia in open view. At that time, they got a search warrant and found digital scales, baggies of crack cocaine, straws and other devices commonly used to snort with, as well as plates with powdery substances on them. Deputies also say a two-week-old child was in the home. She was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine.

The Logan County Sheriff's Department will be continuing with the investigation in conjunction with Child Protective Services.
