W.Va. State Police and Ky. State Police to Attend Funerals for Out of State Troopers



With National Law Enforcement Memorial Week beginning May 11, local law enforcement agencies are preparing to honor fallen officers by sending representatives to funerals for state troopers killed in the line of duty.

This week, two state troopers were shot and killed in Alaska and one state trooper was hit and killed by a car in Florida.

The Huntington detachment of the West Virginia State Police is making plans to send two troopers to each of the funerals.

Kentucky State Police also plan to send Troopers to the funerals.
