Trader Joe's is recalling fruit in its stores nationwide over a
possible listeria contamination.
Trader Joe's announced on the 20th through their website that it
was recalling many of their stone fruits over the possibility they could be
contaminated with listeria.
Officials say they have not received reports of any illnesses, but they are destroying all the above fruits. They urge consumers to either throw away any fruits that fit the fruits listed above, or return them to Trader Joe's for a full refund.
They are recalling the following products, sold from June 2
through July 18:
--Organic White Nectarine
--Organic Yellow Nectarine
--White Nectarine
--Yellow Nectarine
--Organic Yellow Peach
--White Peach
--Yellow Peach
--Organic Dapple Dandy Plumcot
--Plum
--Organic Yellow Nectarine
--White Nectarine
--Yellow Nectarine
--Organic Yellow Peach
--White Peach
--Yellow Peach
--Organic Dapple Dandy Plumcot

The store is also recalling four pound boxes, sold June 2
through July 19:
