Man in custody after allegedly killing cousin

A Marion County allegedly man killed his cousin in a fight Sunday at their home.

James Timothy Cobb, 52, is in the North Central Regional Jail on $1 million bail after being charged with second degree murder.

A criminal complaint alleges Cobb had his cousin Paul Dean Wilson, Jr., also in his 50s, in a choke hold during a fight and Wilson died. The state Medical Examiner’s Office will determine an exact cause of death.

Police said the two men lived together along with an elderly couple on High Point Drive near Fairmont.
