Four families must now find a new place to live after a fire
ripped through their apartment building in Spencer.
As bad as it was, those who were there say it had the potential
to be much worse.
More than 50 firefighters from ten departments battled the
blaze, Saturday night.
A fire in a back apartment spread to other rooms, sending two
people to the hospital and displacing four families.
Of the two people that were hurt, one had first and second
degree burns to his hands and face.
The other, an elderly man, suffered smoke
inhalation.
